Cassidyland was recently relaunched in February
2008. A revamped
Cassidyland, with a clean, web standards-compliant design, has
been getting a wonderful response from fellow fans. Thank you. It means
a lot to know that our hard work and countless hours of research over the
years is acknowledged and appreciated.
Updated: Our own extensive version of David's discography, which was first published in Cassidyland in 2001 and linked as 'David's Discography' in his official site until 2008. We spent 2+ years researching and verifying our listings before launching the 2001 catalog, which was heralded as the most exhaustive David Cassidy discography online. That first version (which had a glaring typo) was copied and pasted verbatum (yes, with typo!) into several other fansites sans credit over the years. Our reaction? To paraphrase another pop icon, "we used to be disgusted, now we try to be amused".
One more thing: Hm, we've noticed that David's official site re-do now includes jigsaw puzzles and e-cards. We think they're really cool, especially since these features have both been on Cassidyland since 2001. I guess we were doing something right back then, huh.
To all this, we say that imitation is most certainly the sincerest form of flattery. Enjoy Cassidyland, an ORIGINAL super-fansite!
