Sue Shifrin-Cassidy is an accomplished songwriter with credits including Tina Turner's "Show Some Respect," Heart's "Strangers of the Heart," Smokey Robinson's "You Don't Know What it's Like,” the Dionne Warwick-Howard Hewett duet "Another Chance to Love," Al Jarreau's #1 hit "So Good," and Bob Carlisle's first hit record "Giving You the Rest of My Life." Other artists who have recorded her tunes include Cher, Meatloaf, the Pointer Sisters, Olivia Newton-John, Teddy Pendergrass, and Michael Jackson. Among her film credits are "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure," "About Last Night," and "All the Right Moves." Sue was one of 20 American songwriters to go to the Soviet Union in the much heralded Music Speaks Louder Than Words where she collaborated with Michael Bolton and Barry Mann, to name a few.

Sue and husband David Cassidy wrote and donated the song "Stand and Be Proud" to the city of Los Angeles in the aftermath of the Los Angeles riots, garnering over $2 million in donations and goodwill to help Rebuild L.A…..all in the unbelievable span of five short days! She penned the song "River in Time" for the $70 million extravaganza EFX at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, in which her husband starred. She also wrote three new songs for his CD, "Old Trick New Dog" (SlamaJama Records), and co-wrote some of the songs for David's Las Vegas hit show, "David Cassidy At the Copa" at the Rio All-Suite Resort Casino. She is also collaborating with Academy Award nominated actress Dyan Cannon on a Broadway musical.

She and Emerging Artists & Talent in Music (EAT'M) partner Lisa Tenner, who founded EAT'M, were honored with the prestigious "Distinguished Woman" Award of Nevada for 1998. According to Sue, "EAT'M is one of the most exciting projects I have ever chosen to get involved in. I am thrilled to be a partner, and to provide my experience in the music business to help up and coming talent in the industry".

As busy as she is, you might think Sue would be happy to rest on her laurels, but her limitless enthusiasm continues to energize her to conquer new challenges. Last year, she and David contributed their song "Message to the World" to benefit WarChild USA (now known as Future USA) to help the Kosovar victims. The song, produced by multi-Award winning Michael Narada Walden and featuring celebrities including Rosie O'Donnell, Martin Sheen, Sam Moore, David Cassidy, Randy Jackson, Wyclef Jean and many more, and 80,000 voices from across America, was made for a minimal donation over the Internet.

From that effort and the joy of helping others, Sue founded KidsCharities.org, the first worldwide built website benefiting the children of the world. KidsCharities.org is a Las Vegas based non-profit umbrella organization, that donates 100% of its online donations to various children's charities including: Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Special Olympics Nevada, City of Hope, Planet Hope, Reggie Jackson's Mr. October Foundation For Kids, Chances for Children and several more. Thus far, KidsCharities.org, continues to thrive and grow, thanks to sponsorships from Wells Fargo Foundation, Yahoo!, National Airlines and vegas.com.

Sue is the mother of an 11-year-old son, and she is a licensed pilot, enjoys traveling, thoroughbred breeding and racing and scuba diving. She continues to stay active in her community.
